a fond farewell to a few of my favorite KBS students

one more drink for us before they catch the last train home!

i'm not sure if this is as funny for others as it is for me, but here's satomi making fun of other students' english skills...

she was soo drunk - she's such a sweet girl and fun to hang out with. i love the face she makes in this little video

after we put her to bed, satomi stumbled into my room, knocked everything off my desk, peed and tried to get into my bed - like a frightened little naked girl, i watched her then shooed her away from under my blankets...

the next day we enjoyed more cherry blossoms... since they only blossom for a couple weeks out of the year, it seems like all of japan can be found picnicking under the trees

shinjuku park had blooming daffodils as well as the big cherry blossom trees

my last night in shibuya - this was at 8pm on a sunday. they're like little soldier ants!! (i should have taken this video during one of the peak times so you could see what a busy tokyo intersection really looks like ) (video removed due to size)

aurelia found a place to steal some bamboo so i grabbed my trusty saw and off we went 'neath the cover of darkness

i might have the biggest piece of bamboo in my living room right now, but here's the proof that benjamin and aurelia are JUST as guilty as i am for stealing!
